- use innovations developed by others

Demonstration Projects are  assessed against two criteria:

1. Innovation

Innovations are any applied processes, methodologies or use of equipment or material that differ from standard practice and that have not been previously applied in Scotland.

2. Exceptional Performance

Exceptional performance is demonstrated through the results achieved. The project has to show that the results will be better than those achieved by the rest of the Scottish construction industry.
