This workshop provides sufficient underpinning and practical knowledge to enable effective specification, application, supervision and snagging of conservation works.

Topics covered include - Development of repair strategies, advanced mortar manufacture, tile/stone repairs and stitching techniques, surface repairs to ashlar and profiled stone, re-pointing ashlar, replacing stone including full and partial indent, consolidating delaminating stone, shelter coats, advanced lime washes and re-pointing traditional brickwork.
